ABOUT UMASS SKIING

The UMass Alpine Ski Team is a club sports team at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. We compete in the MacConnell division of United States Collegiate Ski Association, which is comprised of club and Division III teams, with the goal of winning the USCSA National Championships. We race with Brown, Castleton, Clarkson, St. Anslem's, Babson, and UConn. We are very competitive within our league and this year both the men's and women's teams made it to the 2024 USCSA Nationals that were held at Whiteface Mountain.

We aim to foster leadership and teamwork, on- and off-snow, through hard work and dedication to the team and sport of skiing. A large part of this organization is to get our members to actively participate as leaders on the team to help them gain experience that they will be able to use after college as well as build lifelong friendships.

While ski racing is important, UMass skiing is about so much more! Our team fosters friendships that last years after teammates have graduated.

Not only that, we love and depend on our alumni, parents, friends and family to help us keep the team going.

If you are interested in joining our team, please fill out the form on our contact page and we will get in touch with you!
